SAP SRM 7.0 - supplier selection document

Dear All,

In current SAP SRM 5.0 operation when a supplier selection document is approved, buyers manually have to finalize the bid (check that the selected bid is approved) – is this step needed in SRM 7.0 (Process – Supplier selection)?

Yes the step is needed in SRM 7 also.
