"Purge" Contract Document

Hi Gurus

We are implementing CLM SP08PL1

A newb question

In the security profile for "Contract generation" in "Contract Document" item what is the difference between "Purge" and "Delete" authorizations?

Hi,

Not 100% sure but i believe:

Delete - only logical delete, record will remain in the DB (eg: you can't create a new CD with the same name)

Purge - physical delete (eg: you can re-create a CD with the same name)

PS: what I don't remember is seeing the 'option' or button to purge the CD.
