Product Category delta load transfer/Material Group replication

Hi,

I want to transfer a new material gp (eg. ZMG1) from ECC to SRM 7.0. (delta upload)

I followed the forum posts and was able to proceed to a large extent but could not transfer it. The steps as understood and performed are as follows:

• Logical system setting already exits.
• Followed sap note 720819 and is already maintained correctly.
• Have executed report BBP_PRODUCT_SETTINGS_MW using SE38 (though this is required for initial download)
• Table CRMATAB has the entries for table T023 (and other tables).
• tables CRMMLSGUID (SRM system) and CRMPRLS (ERP system ) are identical.
• Ran R3AR2 with the following details:

Adapter object =DNL_CUST_PROD1

Table name =T023

Field name = MATKL

LOW = ZMG1

Option = Equality (=low)

High = empty

•       Ran R3AR4 for DNL_CUST_PROD1; got the message “DNL_CUST_PROD1: Object is in status Running”
• Also ran R3AC3 for filtering DNL_CUST_PROD1 (ran with and without this transaction but the problem not resolved).
• No queue in SMQ1/SMQ2.
• Ran R3AM1 which shows an entry for DNL_CUST_PROD1 as green (Done); this entry is for an unsuccessful earlier delta transfer by me with status Block & value 2.
• COMM-HIERARCHY does not show the material group ZMG1.

Requesting to guide me in resolving the issue.

Step1.

Create Consumer type EBP

Transaction: SM30

Table: CRMCONSUM

Step2.

Define Customizing Objects for EBP Consumer

Transaction: SM30

Table: CRMSUBTAB

Customizing objects must be defined for the EBP consumer to match the objects resident in the

EBP system. Copy the CRM (MATERIAL, CUSTOMIZING and SERVICE_MASTER) records

from the table and change the consumer type to EBP for the new entries.

Step3.

Define Logical System for Initial Downloads

Transaction: SM30

Table: CRMRFCPAR

Transport: Not Transportable

Step4.

Create Active Entry for MATERIAL Customizing Object

Transaction: SM30

Table: CRMPAROLTP

Step5.

Edit the table for application indicator

Transaction: SE16N

Table: TBE11

Search or add an application component BC-MID and edit activity settings (field AKTIV = X).

Save your settings.

Step6

Transaction: SPRO

IMG: Supplier Relationship Management SRM Server  Master Data  Products  Define

Output Format and Storage Form of Product Ids

Step7.

Define Replication Site for Backend System

Transaction: SMOEAC

Transport: Not Transportable

Define a site within EBP that represents the backend system.

Specify a name and a description and choose R/3 from the Type drop-down list

Step8.

Define Replication Site for EBP System

Transaction: SMOEAC

Transport: Not Transportable

Update the site within EBP that represents the EBP system (CRM Entry).

Step9.

Maintain Middleware Parameters

Transaction: SM30

Table: SMOFPARSFA

This configuration is transportable.(Note).

Deactivate CRM Specific Settings

Transaction: SE38

Report: BBP_PRODUCT_SETTINGS_MW

Or

Transaction: BBP_PRODUCT_SETTINGS

Step10.

Generate Repository Objects

With this procedure, you generate the middleware function modules (BDoc Object Type) for the

material master.

Go to transaction SMOGGEN and choose object PRODUCT_MAT and PRODUCT_SRV.

Generate services for all Object Categories.

Step11

Start of download material

Go to transaction R3AS on SRM side and choose first object to download

(DNL_CUST_BASIS3).

In your Case

Transaction: R3AC3

Customizing Object: DNL_CUST_PROD1

Execute

and Monitor

in

SMW01 – Display BDOC messages.

The above is the Procedure and necessary setting to be done.

Thanks Rajesh for the details.

But the system is already alligned with 720819 and your details.

The entries in TBE31 mentioned by you are missing; but that requires Data Element creation for making an entry in TBE01. Is it really necessary for Material group delta transfer from ECC to SRM.

I am still struggling with a solution and have tried all sort of permutations.

Also request you to check the RFC connection check for the site SMOEAC and RFC connection check in ECC for SRM destination.
