Plan driven procurement PO

We are using the classic scenario with plan driven procurement. The issue is that we are unable to change the direct material PO created in R/3. We receive the following message

(ME888 - BBP purchase order cannot be changed in R/3 system (Display only)

Is this standard ? How can one change the direct material POs then ?

Hi

I think you are in Extended classic scenario.

Check once again, the PO created in SRM cannot be changed in R3, it will be for display purpose only.

I think the reason is that the buyer is assigned to a local pur org in SRM. Do we have create a local buyer or a "R/3" buyer ?

The buyer should be assigned to backend purchasing org in case of classic, I suppose...

I assigned a backend pur grp to the buyer in the org plan, but the requisitions are showing up in the local buyer's sourcing cockpit. Don't know why ?
