CLM Database Tables

Dear colleagues,

It may seem to be a basic question but I am new to CLM.

Is there any way that we can see vendor details, with field names and etc, in a table of CLM database? In ERP system we have able to see details of vendor fields in LFA* tables but I don't know how to find it in CLM.

Hi Melih,

This depends on whether you have an On Demand or On Premise installation.

In case of an On Premise system you can access the database if you have access to it. In order to know the name of the table you are looking for, click on Reference Guide on any particular page (in you case the Vendor page) and then click on Schema View in the new page that opens up. This should tell the name of the table.

We have an on premise system. I now got the name of the table but I have no idea how I can access the DB in order to see details of it.

Hello Melih,

Please talk to your system admin or the SAP BASIS group in you organization and get access to the database. You may need a tool like TOAD etc to comfortably view data and other properties of the DB.
