Ariba CLID Integration to SAP S/4 Hana On-prem

Hello Experts,

We are working on the Ariba CLID Integration with SAP S/4 HANA on-prem. We have enabled the required parameters in ICM and able to see the Send to External System option in Ariba Contract workspace against the Line-item document. We have maintained the required master data in the External system integration and after we click on send to External system, we get a success message also in Contract Workspace.

However, we are not able to see this triggering any document in CIG or Business network, its like we clicked on Send to External system and nothing triggered on the system. Can some one please throw some light on what are we missing here? Once we click on Send to External system, where should we check the Contract is sent to S/4 Or not or how to trouble shoot?

NOTE: I went through the standard links in help.sap.com, but there were not helpful, any help on this would be very much appreciated.

Hi Velu,

The payload needs to be reviewed. Can you submit a CASE to the Ariba support team so that we can look into it on our end?
If any errors in the ERP are visible to you. You may share it here and I will try to guide here.

Thanks a lot for your response! The problem is we are not seeing the payload anywhere, it's not triggering a document type in CIG. I read in the standard documentation that the CLID will trigger a contract request to Network and then to ECC/S4. So in this case will this go through CIG? What is the document type configuration that i need to check at CIG level since i dont see any document type triggering after i do the 'Send to External System'. And yes, i will create a case in Sap for me.
