Account Assignment Category values are not displayed in the drop down box

Hi SRM Guru's

I am new to SRM. I got an issue in SRM portal.

SRM Portal: Under Purchasing->Purchase order overview. we can view the list of purchase order's(PO). In order to search a particular PO we use Quick Criteria Maintenance. In this selection criteria we have Account Assignment Category as an optional Dropdown field for selecting the PO's based on acc assignment category. But this Account assignment category dropdown field is not displaying any values.

While debugging i found that the values are imported from cluster table. During this fetch, values for Acc Assignment Category are not fetched.

Kindly help me on where to maintain the values.

Hi All,

I got the solution.

Step 1: Check the SPRO Confiruration in the below path

SPRO -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Account Assignment ->

Define Account Assignment Categories

Step: 2. Check whether any change done in GUI for POWL query.!

If so,POWl query refresh has to be done for all the users having Purchasing Tab in their ID.

Whether default tick is done for all the GL account.hope you are  using SRM 7.0

The default tick is done for all GL Account. Still the issue is there.

We are using SRM 7.0 only.

Hi

Check whether you have given the source system correctly in the GL account config in SPRO.(D90CLNT010)--eg

GL account is taken from back end (ECC6.0) . you have not given the correct logical system.

check connection from SRM logical system to ECC logical system

Source system are already maintained.

The issue is "Account Assignment Category" values are not displayed in portal.

Hi Kamalakannan,

These values are based on ACC_CAT attribute in Org structure. Please check the ACC_CAT attribute values for the user you are using. We have restricted users using this attribute so that they can use only certain account assignment category in Quick search in portal.Let me know if it works.

Hi,

Can you check if you have maintained Acc Assignment Categories in following

Path: SRM Server-> Cross-Application Basic Settings-> Account Assignment-> Define Account Assignment Categories

You can also check Table BBP_DET_ACCOUNT i.e. used to store G/L Accounts according to Product Categories.

Account Assignment Category are already maintened via, path: SRM Server-> Cross-Application Basic Settings-> Account Assignment-> Define Account Assignment Categories. And BBP_DET_ACCOUNT table is also maintained.

But still the values are not displayed in the portal.
