Hi There,
I'm planning to go to my first Teched this year, but I'm hesitating between the one in Madrid or the one in Beijing.
What do you recommend ?
I'm more inclined to go to the one in Beijing.
I know that it will be more expensive and all that... but I would be thrilled to visit China.
So that is a plus for me.
Are ALL the Teched sessions in China translated live to English ?
Will I be able to understand all the Teched sessions in China same as I would in Spain ?
Kind Regards
/Ricardo

Hi Ricardo,
A main difference between the 2 conferences is language. In Beijing the sessions will be delivered in Mandarin, and the Madrid sessions will be delivered in English. Translations are not offered for the content.
I hope this helps you to decide which conference will be a better fit for you. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
The 2011 websites will be published in March. In the meantime, you may wish to view the websites

Hi Christine,
thank you for your answer.
Just to confirm - when you mention the sessions n China will be delivered in Mandarin, does that mean ALL the sessions ?
Will there be any content in English at the Beijing Teched ?
Kind Regards

Hello,
It is expected that 90% + of the sessions will delivered in Mandarin. For the 10% of sessions that are in English, we will simultaneously translate these sessions to Chinese, but NOT translate the Chinese sessions to English.
Kind regards,
Christine
