This is the first time I am able to visit the famous SAP TechEd (and this is covered in my first SDN Blog post as well), so I am very excited about the new experiences there. I have heard a lot of positive feedback from my collegues who visited the TechEd conferences in the previous years.
Currently the main topic of my work is the SAP Portal, but the company I am working for is getting more and more involved the SAP HANA universe and and we are collecting knowledge and experience in the corresponding areas like predictive analysis. So those will be the topic of the sessions, lectures and workshops I plan to attend.
So my current agenda includes the following sessions (some are overlapping, but I will sort it out in time):
EVENT3 | SAP Executive Keynote |
EA161 | Using SAP Predictive Analysis with SAP Business Warehouse and SAP HANA |
EXP17404 | Getting Started with Big Data |
CJ631 | Get Your Hands On SAP River RDE and Come Build Your SAP Fiori SAPUI5 App! |
UXP202 | SAP Portal Portfolio – Overview and Outlook |
DEV161 | SQLScript – Push Code Down into SAP HANA to Achieve Maximum Performance |
DEV112 | Developing SAP HANA Applications with SAP River |
DEV213 | SAP HANA Off the Beaten Track - Information Analytics and Search @BASF |
EA107 | Create Beautiful and Engaging Experiences with BI Data |
EA163 | Deep-Dive into SAP Lumira – Desktop, to Server, Cloud, or BI Platform |
CR708 | Leveraging SQLScript Language Features |
CR703 | Optimal Use of JavaScript in XSJS |
EXP17496 | Which Portal Is the Right Portal for Me? On Premise, Cloud, or Managed? |
I am quite exited about taking a session hold by Thomas Jung because I have already attended his "Introduction to Software Development on SAP HANA" openSAP course.
So I will try to get enough sleep before the conference and not having too much beer during it to take away as much as possible.
I am looking forward seeing you in Berlin.
Best regards,
Steffen
