SAP University Alliances successfully hosted 45 students and 4 professors at d-kom Shanghai this Wednesday, together with more than 2.300 participants. The invitees including DemoJam student team and Vocational Training students, by the GREAT support from Vocational Training and Early Talent. The main event had 200+ speakers delivered over 150 sessions, and 8 customer & partner sessions for attendees where students and professors can learn, apply and share with SAP experts.
In the DemoJam session, student team from UA member school – Shanghai Second Polytechnic University(SSPU) won the 3rd prize among all 8 finalist teams on that day. Their Demo “Fault Diagnosis & Monitoring for Spindle on HANA” was highly recognized by the juries out of all the teams from SAP internal LoBs and SAP partner. Great support from SAP P&I MI team to provide technical training and guidance to the students on their work. It’s also another milestone since SSPU signed Ind 4.0 Strategic Cooperation MoU with SAP last year. As a follow up, SSPU is going to strengthen the usage of SAP new technologies and solutions in their teaching and research. 
Together with Richard Zhang, Early Talent Program Manager Greater China, we also had conversations with students on their career development. Richard offered students important insight into careers for Early Talents at SAP and how UA & ET are strongly collaborating to attract best Talent from UA member schools, and provided many valuable advices to individual student.
