SAP TechEd 2019 registration just kicked off. Developers, engineers, architects and other technologists are in for a top-notch learning experience this year. From the inspiring opening keynotes to hands-on workshops, demo-rich lectures and road map sessions, participants will have every opportunity to explore disruptive ideas and create solutions that will reshape the future of their company.
Last year we started a scholarship program to increase the inclusivity of our SAP TechEd events, providing free access to some community members who had never attended an SAP TechEd event in the past. This year, we are continuing that program by providing a fully paid ticket to one of three SAP TechEd events for 30 community members. (Winners will be responsible for their own travel expenses.)
SAP Business ByDesign - SCM Advanced– BYD30 These 3 days training is based on a general knowledge of SCM processes within SAP Business ByDesign. The goal of the course is to set up a new site supporting all the relevant Supply Chain Management processes for procurement, order fulfillment, warehouse management and production within this site. The sales order management, inbound, outbound logistics and supply to production must be set up and the plant must be prepared for production processes.
SAP Commerce Cloud Backoffice Framework Developer Training (formerly HY465)– C4H365 This course builds on top of the SAP Commerce Backoffice Framework Fundamentals online training (HY460e) and leads into details of development of a Backoffice application on top of the platform. Book this training if you would like to learn how to work with the framework's capabilities to build generic, extensible applications.
Classification with SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management- S4104 The classification system allows you to use characteristics to describe all types of objects, and to group similar objects in classes – to classify objects, in other words, so that you can find them more easily later. Book this training if you would like to learn how to find objects with similar or identical characteristics as quickly as possible.
Quality Planning and Inspection in SAP S/4HANA– S4141 Book this training if you would like to learn how to process QM-specific basic data as well as inspection planning details. You will also learn how basic data is used in different plans and see how this data influences the generated inspection lots. The general inspection process is modeled using various examples. In addition, the training course demonstrates the possible uses of quality notifications.
Retail Functional Delta: Classic ERP to SAP S/4HANA- S4IRD is a functional delta course, which introduces new and changed functionality in SAP S/4HANA for Retail merchandise management, compared to the SAP ERP Retail 6.0 EhP7 system. The delivery format of this 2- days classroom course is presentation and demos, without exercises. Book this training if you would like to learn how to describe key retail functions and business processes, including associated Customizing steps, in the SAP S/4HANA for Retail merchandise management system, which are different compared to the SAP Retail ERP 6.0 EhP7 system.
SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning- SACP20 In this course we cover the details of the planning features of SAP Analytics Cloud. The focus is on the features of the tool without external integration, yet we do mention integration options with SAP BPC. As a hands-on Class we will focus on exercises covering each planning specific feature of SAP Analytics Cloud as defined in goals section below. Book this training if you would like to understand the common SAP Analytics Cloud planning features.
Web Development Basics (JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3)-This is a basic level course designed to give participants an introduction into developing web applications with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and JQuery. Participants will gain practical hands-on experience while they explore the technologies. The primary tool is Eclipse. Book this training if you would like to implement web applications with HTML5 and CSS3, use JavaScript for implementing web applications and the JavaScript library jQuery.
