SAP’s annual general meeting of shareholders was held on June 4, 2013 in the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Germany.
For the first time, UA was present with a booth in the demo pod area. A big world map and an interactive dashboard informed all visitors about the global reach of the UA program. The shareholders got an insight into the UA offering, including the range of curriculum opportunities with regards to teaching SAP software, co-innovation projects with students and the SAP ecosystem. Amongst other topics, the Idea Place, the Database of Dreams project and the newly developed SAP Business ByDesign eLearning were showcased at the booth. In addition to that, the Academy Cube, a brand new job matching and e-learning platform initiated by leading European companies, was presented to interested parties.
Next to the SAP University Alliances pod, the shareholders had the opportunity to learn more about SAP’s innovation topics such as SAP® Business Suite powered by SAP HANA® and mobile solutions like the Adler Mannheim Fan App. Furthermore, the SAP history wall gave them the chance to inform themselves about SAP’s history - from the initial ideas of the founders of SAP to the global enterprise the company has become today. Embedded in the history of SAP are some of the memorable events that took place in the world and in business, as well as milestones in information technology.
