We all know what it’s like when you go on a course: you invest time in the scheduling, you travel to the training location, and you’re looking forward to a few days of
learning and interaction with other course participants – so you’d be incredibly annoyed if the course couldn’t take place.
But that’s exactly what almost happened in the week when
Storm Sabine hit Europe.
The instructor was unable to make it to Walldorf to teach a course, so the teams at the training centers in Walldorf and Vienna arranged for it to take place – as scheduled – via
SAP Live Class Hybrid instead:
Cameras and Bluetooth speakers were installed in the classroom in Walldorf at short notice to connect with the instructor stuck in Vienna through
SAP Live Class. This meant that the participants in Walldorf and the instructor at the Vienna training center were connected via an audio-visual link, making it possible for the course to take place despite the instructor and the participants being in different locations.
SAP Live Class Hybrid – what plans are there for the future?
We’ve already expanded our virtual
SAP Live Class course program for 2020, and we’ll be adding
