SAP UA China has successfully organized a Digital Transformation Info Day with the support and enthusiasm of colleagues from SAP Labs-Chengdu on 10th Nov 2016. There were 3 top universities students majored in Computer Science, Information and Software participated the event. Those 76 students were coming from Sichuan University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and South West Jiaotong University
A wide range of topics have been covered by the conference. Carol Shao the UA manager has introduced the overall SAP and SAP University Alliances Program benefits to students. She especially explained the SAP UA Innovation Education Network and how does SAP encouraging entrepreneurship like SAP Next-Gen Labs in Beijing Jiaotong University. Mr. Ma Hongbo the Product Manager of Hybris has given a presentation on how does SAP technology support its customer run better & run simple by digital business transformation. He illustrated SAP Hybris Strategy and Vision. Mr. Bill Li from HANA team shared SAP S/4 HANA technology and its cloud service concept. Mr. David Lin who is the Intern works for SAP Labs showed his life in SAP and described how great SAP is and what he learned in SAP. Finally Mr. Poseidon Wu , The Director of Development Sales & Service, Greater China, SAP Hybris. has given a short speech on SAP Labs Chengdu and Job openings.
After listening to the lectures students have been arranged to visit SAP Chengdu Labs office and SAP Hybris Digital Innovation Space. That was very impressive tour for students, they spoke to SAP employees to understood SAP working culture and looked around the office to experience the SAP working environment. SAP experts gave a very detail explain on what is Hybris Digital Innovations Space for and welcome students to join work with Labs on innovation projects if they are interested.
