Hanover, Germany

At CeBIT, the world’s largest IT trade fair, more than 260.000 visitors came from March 6 – 10 to see the SAP stand in hall 4 in Hanover. “Truly amazing” was the motto that SAP had chosen for its appearance at CeBIT 2012. The new concept inspired attendees including numerous University Alliances professors, lecturers and students. For University Alliances EMEA the fair is an important platform to get in contact with new universities, but also to exchange ideas with members within the community. The SAP University Alliances team EMEA and the University Competence Center Magdeburg and München at the SAP main booth in hall 4 were available for meetings regarding SAP in education. Furthermore the official Launch of the UA certifications took place.

CeBIT 2012 was also the occasion for the official get-together to close the contract officially with Michael Kleinemeier, SAP managing director DACH, and the management of SHR group, further representatives. Due to collaboration with marketing and HR recruiting University Alliances invited for the first time 5000 students from 100 German Top universities to CeBIT – important to attract generation Y candidates for SAP.
