Hi,

We have activated Funds Management BCS and config is completed. At the time of posting document I am getting error as -

Define a leading ledger

Message no. FAGL_LEDGER_CUST023

We are not using New GL functionality. So leading ledger is not defined.

Please suggest.

Regards,

Harshal

Dear Harshal,

You can review the next wiki:

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPFI/Definition+of+Leading+Ledger+
for+Public+Sector+Customers

This Wiki page was created to refer customers not only about the concept
but also how to resolve error FAGL_LEDGER_CUST023 (in the end of the
page). Please review carefully the information provided there and the
SAP notes mentioned in the WIKI content.

Note 906397 is a reference documentation for this report, for additional
information.

You can check as well note 840783.

I hope you find this information useful.

Hi,

Thanks for reply. We are not using new GL functionality. So there is no 0L ledger.

Hi,

You may review note 840783:

Upgrade - only classic general ledger accounting is active
The error message may also be displayed in a system with Release ERP
2005 that does not use the new general ledger but that uses active Funds
Management (indicator is active in the view VV_FMISPS_1).
Example:

o  You are using the DART tool. Implement Note 1116992.

o  After implementing EHP 3, change the General Ledger account mater
data. Implement Note 1148248. <= I think this is your case.
