I attended this through an ASUG webcast yesterday.  Having worked with the SAP Funds Management solution for 13 years, it is good to see some improvements in the ERP solution coming.  Note there are several improvements for Grants Management - I am not covering here as I have not used.

Figure 1 shows the stage of the Public Sector Management Customer Connection.  Yesterday was the Delivery Call.

Figure 2 shows the list of delivered improvements.  You can see the right of Figure 2 that many can be down-ported and the related improvement notes.

Figure 3 is relevant if you are using the Budgetary Ledger solution (common in Federal Government implementations).

It will allow you enter a posting date in subsequent period.

CO objects like cost centers, WBS, internal orders are now in FM reports (as of enhancement pack 7)

It is good to see CO data in FM reports; there are so many reconciliations between FM and CO that this will really help.

Figure 5 shows the new Refresh button in the Earmarked Funds journal.  This is something our Finance Analyst at my last job really wanted.

Figure 6 shows attachment capabilities coming to the Funds Commitment transaction (FMZ1).  This is the common generic object services which is available on many other common SAP transactions.

Figure 7 shows the the Improvement Finder link.

Many of these improvements are very good to see in this solution, used by many SAP public sector customers.
