We are excited to announce our latest addition to the SAP CodeJam family of topics, SAP Cloud Platform Workflow & Business Rules.

SAP Cloud Platform Business Rules targets line of business users and application developers deprived of flexibly changing business decision logic as and when their market conditions or business policies changes. It supports them with a Manage Business Rules Project application to configure a business rules project and capturing the different decision logic required using Decision Table rules and rulesets. The service also offers the Business Rule Management engine as service to invoke the rule service using REST APIs.

As an SAP Cloud Platform Workflow & Business Rules CodeJam attendee, you will learn the following:

  • How to use API Business Hub to test the Business Rules project

  • How to enable Portal service and My Inbox Fiori App within the Workflow services

  • How to prepare the Workflow inbox and Monitoring apps before starting the development

  • how to create a Workflow project in SAP WebIDE and use various tasks like Service task, User Tasks, etc.

What’s the catch?

To be eligible for one of the passes, you must complete a mission. The mission consists of a series of tutorials covering topics such as Fiori, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAPUI5. Do the tutorials, complete the mission, and you’ll have the option of entering the official SAP TechEd 2018 lottery (one entry per person).

How to Request an SAP CodeJam event?

You can request your very own SAP CodeJam, simply by sending us an email at sapcodejam@sap.com with the following information: name and email of the local contact person for the event, country and city in which the event will take place, estimated number of attendees (25 – 40), topic of the event, location, 3 possible dates.
