Hi SAP Community Team & Community,
recently I changed my employer and my previous s-user has been deactivated. So I cannot use it any more. I was looking for a way to re-connect my old community profile to my new s-user or to a new p-user.
I learned that the only option that we do have right now is to 'link' profiles. A real 'merging' is not possible.
I am working as consultant since many years now helping to push SAP forward. I wrote a lot of community content in the past years, answered lots of community member questions, gained rewards and had some followers. I just do not want to loose all this only because I changed my employer.
I am pretty sure lots of other community members have the same issue/request. From my point of view it would be great if SAP could offer a service that can be used to connect a new P- or S- user to an existing community profile so that it is really merging the data/history (including followers, rewards etc.).
@Community: Please state whether this would be useful for you.
@Community Support: Please let us know your plans in regards to this feature.
Thanks
Hendrik
It was not possible 2019, but yes, it is possible now: https://blogs.sap.com/2023/03/15/happy-anniversary-sap-community-lets-merge-those-accounts/
