How can I add code formatting in a comment in response to a question on the SAP Community page?

Hello poweruser of this community platform!

I have recently experienced a situation where a question in the Technology area got my attention and I did not feel like my response was wroth an answer but rather a comment. I needed to add some lines of code but in the comment section I can only hit enter to submit my post but have no option to add formatted text like a list of entries or even a code snippet. Can someone link me a guide or tell me how to do it?

PS: Or is it simply "open a new tab, start a question and use the editor, copy the text and insert it in the comment field + close the question tab"?

Probably it's already in the scope of future improvements (already asked: https://community.sap.com/t5/questions-about-sap-websites/initial-comment-field-is-inadequate/qaq-p/...). Same issue for me and for other people. My solution: I first post the comment, then I edit it to add the code or image. I think that you can't do better for now.
