Hi SCN Team,
Why does "Helpful Answer" button enables for the thread owner it self? It does not make any sense that the owner himself marks his own reply as helpful.
Enabling "Correct Answer" makes sense to thread owner too in cases like, none of the contributors replies correctly and owner himself found the solution and marked it as correct.
Please think of removing "Helpful Answer" to thread owner.

Suman

Hi Suman,
I understand your point of view, but there is still a possibility where the correct answer is not (yet) there, but there are some "ideas" or "SAP Notes" which could be helpful towards the correct answer? I could be that even SAP will solve the problem by creating a new SAP Note, and this will be the correct answer in the end, right? Or maybe there is no correct answer but only a by-pass solution?
Just thinking from the solution point of view, this made it also independent of who offered the "Helpful Answer", at least in my opinion. And the thread-owner wouldn't get any points anyway if they marked their own solution as Correct or Helpful, this is just for the others to be able to identify the Correct or Helpful solution later on.
Regards,
Andre
