Today when I connected to the SAP Community I got one of those "we've updated our terms" click-here pages, which I then proceeded to go rabbit-holing, ending up in 2012.
Long and legal-looking, except the "Privacy Statement" link led me forward into the past.
The last part has:
INQUIRIES,ACCESS AND UPDATING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
SAP needs your help in keeping the personal data you have shared with us accurate and up to date. If you are a registered user, you may make these updates yourself online via www.sap.com/profile. You may also make these updates or other changes by sending an email to webmaster@SAP.com.
If you have any other questions about this privacy statement or if you wish to inspect the information we hold about you, please contact:
Webmaster
webmaster@sap.com
Revised and posted as of 12 October 2012
When I looked around, I found newer (2023)privacy statements here:
https://pages.community.sap.com/resources/sap-community-privacy-statement
When I tried to click through the older page to "make these updates yourself" I found that [site]/profile is stone dead, redirecting to people before giving up:
I'd assume the click-through page was an error given the rehab going on behind the curtains, except one can reach the outdated privacy page directly, if you remove the spid token from the URL.
wget "https://accounts.sap.com/ui/public/viewTextResource?scenario=SCN&resourceType=RESOURCE_PRIVACYPOLICY&version=1&locale=en"
Not sure my exact question here other than the obsolete terms should not be visible.
