Validity Area for REACH

Dear Experts,

There are two Validity areas in my system

REG_EU - this contains 27 EU member states

REG_REACH - this contain 30 countries. apart from 27 EU member states this contains additional 3 countries

1. Iceland(IS)

2.Liechtenstein(LI)

3. Norway(NO)

Now I wanted to assign Validity area to REACh Regulation. so which Validity area I am suppose to select REG_EU or REG_REACH?

is REACH Regulation is applicable for Iceland(IS),Liechtenstein(LI) and Norway(NO)

Please guide..

Hello Amol,

You use REG_REACH - which actually tells REACh Regulation relevant which is used for REACh Compliance.

Coming to inclusion of those three countries there is one SAP Note relased during 2008 - March I belive. Please check in SVT section.

I found some information ,

The Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, commonly referred to as "REACH", is Europe's broad chemicals legislation, which is applicable in all 27 EU Member States as well as the EFTA European Economic Area (EEA) countries Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland.

This means that, they are added to reach..
