/TDAG/CPM_REPORT007 error in Compliance Status Report

Hello SAP Guru's,

I receive the following error message when I start the Compliance Status Report (/TDAG/CPR03) on a material:

Unit of measure M with dimension LENGTH is invalid for specification 000000001157.

Message no./TDAG/CPM_REPORT007

I guess something is missing in the customizing. But do you have an idea what is missing? and where can I define it?

Hi Rudy,

Please check the composition of your material. The specification is maintained in the composition in meters but the system expects a weight unit of measure to do weight calculations in the report.

The base check in the Compliance Workbench should raise the same error (/TDAG/CPM00).

Thank you for your idea.

But obviously, unit M (meter) is defined for dimension LENGTH in customizing transaction CUNI.

Do you have an idea why the system says "invalid for specification xxxxx"?

I don't understand why this should not be valid for this specification and be valid for others... strange...

Hello Rudy

I'm not familiar with the report but based on the error message I would check the following:

Go to transaction CUNI.

Select dimension LENGTH - on the lower right part of the screen

Check if the unit M (Meter) is defined for dimension LENGHT.

If not, ask the responsible person to enter it.
