Setting deletion flag in production orders distributed to MES

It is not possible to set the deletion flag in a production order which has been distributed to MES (System Status DISB):

How to overcome this issue as it affects the archiving of production orders?

I found the following customizing settings in BS22:

Hi Luca,

With BS22 you can change the restriction based on your business need.

But in this distributed scenario, we generally don't recommend to remove this restriction as it creates inconsistency between the systems. Deletion flag also have some restrictions and if it is set standalone in the source system without knowledge of receiving system then it may create issues when receiving system sends some order update to the source system.
