Can SAP EHSM or MOC  Solution  able to notify when new legislative or regulations updates have been published based on pre-define categories. If so please provide me some story lines.

Hello

As Pavan explained: you have "external" triggers (which can never be part of a SAP Software).

E.g.if regulation changed normally new docuemnts are generated (e.g. OEL values). If you use e.g. the SAP service (as SERC/SERD) then SAP checks these legal updated; prepare "content" and dispatch that to you. But this depends on your service agreement. Inside of SAP EHS some "subsequent" processes can be trigged; not all of them are "automatic"; most of them are manual work to do

How can an ERP solution notify you of the regulation updates?? Rather, your question should be how ERP systems ensures that for any regulatory changes, the information systems/documents are updated accordingly.

Tracking changes in regulations/legislation is job of data content providers. SAP also offers content and services known as SERC/SERD, which when implemented on top of your EHS system ensures that your specification database, phrase library and secondary data determination is up-to-date. Other content providers include 3E, Ariel etc.
