SAP Digital Manufacturing error connect OPC DA tag with assets indicator

Hi guys,

I need your help to resolve a connection error between SAP Digital Manufacturing and OPC Server. We are using Production Connector to connect the OPC server (OPC DA) through the Cloud Connector with Digital Manufacturing (as indicated in the SAP guide), but when trying to connect an indicator of an asset configured in Digital Manufacturing with an OPC tag, we get the following error (the message is in Spanish, sorry about that):

When I try to connect the indicator, I can see the OPC, its routes and its tags, but when I make the link it seems that Digital Manufacturing does not find that route. Do you have any idea why this happens?

Hi,

Are you using ProdCon latest version?
If not, I suggest you upgrade ProdCon and retry.
If yes, I suggest you raise a ticket.

The problem was indeed a software problem. I investigated the problem last week and found no solution. This week SAP released a note on August 6 that provides a solution to the problem. The problem was a software problem and the solution was to install a Production Connector patch. With this patch, I was able to connect the OPC tags with the asset indicators in Digital Manufacturing.
