Hello friends,
In my project we have automated creation of PS project through PPM Operation project once we create the project.
Now creating Task just below project definition creates WBS in PS project, we are not able to delete this as by this time it is already transferred.
My questions are
How we can restrict the user to create task just below Project definition in PPM Operational project?
Would also like to restrict the user to create the Phase manually as this copied directly from template?
Thanks in advance
Kailas
Thanks Anil,
The mentioned configuration is for not to add any task in the project, however my requirement is to restrict the user to create the task just below project definition. They can very well create the task under phase. Let me know in case you have any further inputs.

Hi Kailas,
To create a task under cProject, you need to flag the "Task" check box which will enable the tasks to be created. If you flag this Tsks/Chkl.f.ProjDef box, it will stop creating task under definition directly. I recommend to give a try and prepare the project template accordingly to map it to item type.
Let me know if this helps.

Anil
Hi,
Thanks for the input. Actually I don't want to restrict the task creation under any phase. This configuration will restrict the user to create the task in the project.
What I am looking for is restricting the user for not able to create the task under project definition, he should be able to create the task under any phase though.
Regards
KPG
