Dear SAP Community,
we face the callenge to pack boxes with a fixed ID on a pallet with a fixed ID. The boxes are full of SFCs. The pallet and the boxes are returned after delivery.
Our idea is to have for the box a packing unit, which is linked to the carrier (carrier name = box ID). But when we try to pack this box packing unit into the pallet packing unit (which is linked to the pallet-carrier with a fixed ID as name), the error "You can only add nonreturnable packing units as content. Packing unit XX has a returnable material type" appears. We try to do the packagin in a production process using "Add content to packing unit".
DM needs us to use the returnable material type to be able to use carriers with a fixed id.
