Im facing some problem in MSDS report.
For one of the materials, the MSDS report is giving desc as in material master for some user ID its showing different description in MSDS report from CG54 transaction code.
Can any one help me to understand how the system would pick the description?
From abap point of view is there any report/program to check from where the word doc, would be displayed?

please describe better the process you are using.
Normally these are the steps:
1.) Select CG54
2.) Switch to "Material Master View"; enter one material number and create report tree
3.) Mark the "report" of interest and select may be the "initiator" etc.
Then the system will "normally retrieve "material" texts from material level to show up in WWI report.
