Hi,
A single material will generate multiple inspection lots for same batch. Result recording will be performed for one lot, but for the remaining lots, a mass usage decision (UD) is required without recording results. What method could be used to achieve this?

Hello Subramani!
Using the t-code QM16, it is possible to make the mass usage decision, but there is a validation for this:
- The inspection lot cannot have mandatory characteristics that are open;
- The inspection lot cannot have any characteristics that have been rejected.
I must admit that I found it a bit strange that several inspection lots were generated for the same batch of material. I imagine that they come from several movements of goods generated over time.
If the ideal situation for this situation is to have only one inspection lot for the same batch, regardless of the number of movements or entries of goods, I recommend that you analyze the option to create the lot for the type of inspection used:
Thank you and I hope I have helped you.
