Listing the files in shared folder in another server

Hi,

I developed custom action that lists files in a shared folder in another server.

It runs properly in windows , but it does not run under XMII environment.

When i deploy it in XMII and use it as an action in a transaction, it does not run.

It generates error message, it does not access shared folder in another server.

What may be the reason it runs in windows but does not under XMII.

Thanks.

Hi Cemil,

Instead of creating custom action, You can just try this with ActiveX Objects.

Hi Cemil,

What is the error message that you are getting in MII trx.

Remember that when you are trying execute your Action on MII server, its actually running on MII server and not on the client machine, make sure your remote server allows MII server to read from it.

Kind Regards
