#PLM Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)/Plant Maintenance (PM)
Hello Experts,
Hospital equipment such as ventilators, X-ray machines, ECG machines, anesthesia machines, and surgical instruments often move between various locations, and this happens frequently. Tracking their movements, recording maintenance costs for each location, and monitoring their utilization would necessitate continuous updates to the master data.
My question is whether there are any existing solutions to manage these hospital equipment in an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. If so, could you please provide a brief explanation of how the master data for hospital equipment can be effectively maintained?
Regards,

Greetings,
such scenarios can be adequately mapped in standard SAP. The scenario you have described is no different to any dynamic production shop floor environment where different equipment (production resources and tools) migrate between different static locations (superior machine or functional location).
You can map all you different hospital equipment by either equipment type or technical object type. Regarding movements you have three general options:
Maintenance costs are managed using maintenance orders. Costs can be analysed and summarized at different levels using asset management and/or controlling structure
