EHS - send specification data to XI in an xml

Hi all,

We have to send specification data via an xml file to an external system. First we have to select specifications, then generate the xml files and send then to xi via the proxy.

Is there something in ehs module for generating an xml file in a specific format and send it to XI? We are first thinking of a custom solution?

the set up of solution is normally different. You pass on an IDOC from SAP EHS so SAP XI/PI and SAP XI /PI is used to transform that to a specific XML.

XML is only a "language". More important is: which XML schemata should / must be used. Without this informaiton you are not able to solve the topic as in most cases you need to "map"/"trasnform" etc. the data.

With SAP Product and REACH Compliance Suite a XML interface is prepared to exchange data using IUCLID format.

PS: other options (not aurtomatic !) are e.g. use of own developped output variants; e.g. you can exchange data regarding SDS/MSD using XML; but only "local" XML schemata are known.
