ECTR Content Server in S/4HANA 1.1

Hello,

Does the ECTR prerequisite a HTTP Content Server? As I understood from the Security Guideline of ECTR, the interaction between SAP ECTR and content server is done via HTTPS. In addition to that, installation guideline of ECTR mentiones that a SAP content server and SAP document management are required for backed.

Although the both guidelines of ECTR prerequiste an http content server, I want to be sure before I contact the basis team to set up an HTTP content server.

Hello Mehmet,

yes, ECTR requires a http(s)-enabled Content Server to upload and store files. It can be a SAP content server but also other compatible content servers, like ArchiveLink-compatible servers.
