Custom localization

Hi,

How can I customize the localization of the HTML pages? We have an XML file with the labels and thier translation per language and would like to use these instead of the xMII localization.

Is there any way to extend the localizer class?

thanks in advance

Hi Reddy,

For your purpose you can write a easy BLS to copy all the data in XML into the properties file easily. You can use that code as reusable for another languages also.

Thanks,

Rajesh.

Hi Reddy,

The way to use localisation in xMII is like this.Create a properties file with the name UserStringResources_xx.properties if not exist. where xx is 2 letter for your language.Keep mapping of all localization data in these files for all languages. Now save your HTML file with the .irpt extension so that it become xMII report. In your html file replace all localized data with localized variable( like this {##EngTitle}) . You need to define all the localised variable in the properties files.Remember localised variables can only be used in .irpt files.

Hope this will help.

Thanx & Regards
