Can someone kindly write down very basic steps by which I can create a simple WWI report by extracting some field values from Property tree of specification.
Thanks in advance,
I was asking this because how does one create
1. Ingredient Statement from just Specifications using WWI
2. I see something like Product Labeling under Recipe Management. Is WWI different from Product Labeling (under Recipe management). Does WWI also create Labels (nutritional facts, ingredient statements, Dietary Information), in addition to MSDS, SOP reports.
Can you throw some light.
Thanks in advance,
Thanks a lot for the answer. I have one more question.
When I create the Report Template using CG42 can I also insert symbols from Recipe Management functionality, in addition to pulling symbol from specification property tree.
For instance if a 'Specification substance' is the final output of a Recipe, can some symbols from its Recipe can also be pulled in WWI while creating Report Template through CG42.
Thanks in advance.
To be able to create a WWI report for the objects like MSDS, SOP etc., first you need to create a template layout in tcode cg42.
There you define the symbols (Specifiction, descriptor or parameter: In your case it will be only specification symbols).
Once your template is ready, you can preview your report for the specification for which you have maintained the values agaisnt the symbols you have defined in your template by going to Documents -> start preview in tcode: CG42. For report to be previewed you will require a Generation Variant.
And finally to be able to generate a final report you will require template to be in status Released and your WWI server up and running.
