I am fresher and currenly i am only training in cProjects which is already been implement in my firm and also I wont be trained in other submodules of PLM, I just wanted to know the future of this area. Will I be able to survive with this profile??
CProjects is a main part of PLM in todays world of SAP PLM
mySAP PLM's core is a set of Product Data Management (PDM) functionality (<b><u>such as BIll of Materials, Engineering Change Mangement, Document Management System, Classification Systems etc)</u></b> This functionality is supplemented with other technologies that provide additional capabilities, such as visualization and <u><b>collaboration,</b></u> and a set of applications and business solutions that leverage SAP's industry knowledge related to supporting the product definition lifecycle and its integration with the product production and operations support lifecycles. It is targeted at "enterprise- class"
A well-designed, well-executed PLM strategy can provide tremendous value to a company. PLM can connect major corporate stakeholders into an integrated environment that enhances the creation of innovative products and services; it supports collaborative relationships within and outside the company; and it delivers cost reductions, quality improvements, and shorter time to market. Carefully planned and executed, PLM can be a catalyst for positive business change.
<b>So you need to concentrate of PDM & Cprojects which is a very good combination and will give you a boast in your career as CProjects is very highly respected and demandable module.</b>
So whatever you do, you should be best in it, so no need to worry, you just concentrate on Cprojects and its integration with PDM objects.
