CG54 Parameter user entry field issue

We have an issue with CG54 where a parameter symbol (one specific parameter) is not getting displayed if the user is logged on in any other language other than EN. If logged on in EN the parameter symbols is getting displayed and user can enter the value. Same report and same data, if the user is logged on in any other language the parameter is not getting displayed, we can see a blank line where it should be displayed. Have any one come across this issue. Is there any language specific setting in parameter report symbols? Pls let me know. Thanks

i assume the same will happen in "Report from template"... and may be you talk about the "dialog" which comes up there. If there is no "field" shown: then translations are potentially missing (on report symbol definition level)

This was an issue related to description not maintained in logon language for data domain related to the report symbol. When I checked the data element in SE11 it gave me a "visual feel" like description existed but finally it had to be maintained in a different transaction that ABAP consultant did. Thanks.

I assume: we talk about a "customer specific parameter symbol"? Can you show the WWI logic? I have never sen such a dependence (based on log on language)
