The sixth step in the
Waste Management E2E Process for All Countries Blog Series – South African Example is to define waste business partners, then link them to waste materials. This is done so that there are business partners that you can assign to transport and dispose of the specified waste materials in a legally compliant way for your country/region, in this example it is
South Africa.
In this step, the business partner is defined by classifying it as a transporter or disposer in the
My Transporters and Disposers app. SAP’s standard system is delivered with business partner roles
Transporter (WTRA01) and
Disposer (WDSP01), which have been mapped to waste partner types
01 - Transporter and
02 - Disposer respectively.
Note: The waste materials we are assigning in this step to the transporter and disposer have been previously created in the prerequisites of the
Waste Management E2E Process for All Countries Blog Series – South African Example and characterized in the
Waste Management E2E Process Blog Series Step 4: Characterizing Waste Material step.
