Using SAP Companion Extended Scenario in S/4HANA

I have configured the parameters in Fiori launchpad configuration and added both standard content workarea and my custom content sap enable now manager workarea. I am not able to see the simulations created in my custom SEN work area in the respective Fiori screens. Is it something i need to configure in my SEN Manager end? I tried adding configuration but there was no config template available for S/4HANA. The version is S4HANA ON PREMISE 2023. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Kavinprabu,

There are many parameters that can be added to the SAP Companion configuration to modify the behaviour of SAP Companion.  The details of these parameters are located in the SAP Companion Integration Guide.  In particular, look at the section that relates to the product that you wish to use SAP Companion in, e.g. S/4HANA, and the Features and Configuration section.  The other sections are also important but these two sections are VERY important.

At a minimum level, the parameters that are required to use SAP Companion to distribute standard and customer-specific content are located in the instructions for your specific application.  For example, if I were turning on SAP Companion for a recent version of SAP S/4HANA On Premise (also called Private Cloud) I would look at these instructions:

When you access the relevant section of instructions, consider the parameters defined in the Parameters Independent of Content Scenario and Parameters for Extended Content sections.  You need to add all the parameters from both sections.

Finally, to get Enable Now content to appear in SAP Companion, you must add the following two parameters in addition:

learningAppWorkspace=WorkareaID (change WorkareaID to the ID of the Workarea in Manager that contains your customer-specific cotnent)
learningAppBackendUrl=https://CustomerName.enable-now.cloud.sap/ (change CustomerName to the domain name of your SAP Enable Now system)

If this is still failing, add the editor=true parameter to the configuration to turn on the editing function.  This should help to show content if it is available.

Outside that, paste a screenshot of your configuration in this post, along with the system that you can using, e.g. S/4HANA, and I will try to identify the issue.

Regards
