Hi,
SAP Enable Now consumption edition, Microsoft Edition (SQL)
Version: 10.8.5 (build 4014)
I'm facing an issue with projects that I created from within the manager using the browser extensions recording a single browser tab.
My expectation: When I create a demo for a specific browser tab through the browser, and then build the companion for the group, it should become content of the companion just like stuff created through the producer for specific applications.
But this is what actually happens:
For projects created in the Producer, the created content is included by the group.dnt. (group.dnt=senl for onPremise)
Opposed to that, projects created within the manager are not included in the group.dnt
Why is that?
My goal is to create a demo "google hello" which will be suggested by the desktop companion while google.com is my active browser tab. And it should not be suggested when google.com is not my active tab. Is that possible?
I hope you understand my issue. Any help is much appreciated!
Regards,
Alec

Ok, I got it to work now - at least partly.
It works, when I use the producer to create a new group with a new simulation and then hit the green thunder on the group to generate the companion. Then I hit 'Play SAP Companion' and it works as expected - for Firefox tabs. I use the standard profile for that.
MS Edge on the other hand doesn't recognize the browser tabs correctly. It does not let me use the standard profile, but automatically switches to Generic Web Application.
In the context parameters one entry says INVALID_URL. Nothing else is visible here, eventhough I changed the URL many times in the recorded Simulation.
I'm a little confused as to how this works. I'd very much appreciate some clarification 🙂
Thanks, Alec
