SAP Enable Now - demo and other modes creation disabled

Hi All,

We have noticed that with no action from admins the demo/practice/test modes creation became disabled for our project. What could cause it apart from a human action in the settings?

Hi Kit_Kat,

You can control what modes of your Simulations are automatically created when you recreate the modes, e.g. when you save an individual Simulation, using this setting.

 You must have editing control of this Resource to be able to modify these settings:

 Once you have the settings correct, you can select a folder containing multiple Simulations and regenerate the missing modes by:

1. Open Producer
2. Click on the parent folder of the content to be updated and ensure that you have editing control of the Simulations to be updated
3. Select Workarea > Generate all Content
4. Set the following settings and click OK

Thank you, Shane! I understand what needs to be done to revert this limitation, but I am confused as to why this happened in the first place and if there are any other settings that might be affected, but I did not notice. No one on the team was changing these issues on purpose.

Kat: Check the change log for that resource - see if anyone changed it. Also, there are Simulation-level overrides (same menu option from within the simulation itself) so check that for the simulations you noticed this on. My guess is someone has changed the overrides on the Simulation Template and that then applies to all sims created from this. So check the change log for that as well.
