Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding the rerecording of dropdown menus or picklists in SAP Enable Now.
I am currently performing rerecording of my processes, to localize my UI screens from English to different target languages.
I use the interactive mode to verify the selections made by the tool, but I encounter a problem when rerecording dropdown menus and picklists that I previously recorded.
At each step, the recording tool asks me to confirm its selections.
However, in the case of picklists or dropdown menus, if I validate the selection proposed in the recording bar by clicking on "Accept Control", I need to click outside the areas of these dropdown menus or picklists, which logically closes them.
After my validation, the tool then rerecords the screen following this accidental closure.
Logically, the rerecording tool cannot then recognize the next steps of the process, since the dropdown menu/picklist window has been accidentally closed.
Is there a setting/trick in SAP Enable Now to prevent dropdown menus/picklists from closing when interacting with the rerecording bar?
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Dirk,
Thank you for your answer.
Here is an example of dropdown menu I have recorded, but that I fail to rerecord:
In this example, I need successively to click on the entries "Goto", then "Header" to finally select “Sales”.
The rerecording tool fails to select these successive entries and close the drop-down menu after any interaction with the recording bar.
In this case, I need to execute the mouse actions. Is there a way to bypass this issue (without recording these actions manually)?
