Performance Reviews by Interim Managers

We just rolled out Performance and Goals. We have employees who have interim managers while theirs is on leave. We do not necessarily want to change their manager on Success Factors, but do want to transfer the manager assessment to their interim manager. When following these instructions, the interim manager is still unable to see 3/4th of the sections that normally require completion, including Objectives, Overall Assessment Rating, Promotion, Summary Section, and Performance Potential Summary. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance! - KT

The instructions you referenced are in fact for when there is in fact a new manager assigned to the individual in the system, but document transfer functionality is disabled (which would automatically transfer the review).  It is not intended to give people access who are not now the new manager of the employee.   They cannot see the sections as the sections are in fact restricted to the ACTUAL manager for the user in the system.

For your use case, you should be using the proxy functionality in the system.  It is 100% intended for your use case scenario.   This KBA article, and related ones should help you...
