Multiple elements in single SCORM file

Hello,

I am looking for confirmation or support with exporting SCORM files to be uploaded to Workday.

We have:

• Practice and test
• Multiple languages

If I put practice and test in a single scorm, and the item in Workday for this scorm is marked as mandatory, both practice and test must be completed for the learner to complete the Workday item.

Similarly, if I put 4 languages into a scorm and the item containing this scorm is mandatory, all languages must be completed for the learner to complete the Workday item.

In short, all elements in a single scorm must be completed to have the LMS item completed - is that true?

If not, how and where can I differentiate that in single scorm the test is mandatory and the practice optional?

Hi Kat,

Yes, I think you are correct.  I'm not aware of any way to mark a block of content, i.e. one language, as potentially mandatory for one user but not for another.  It's possible to mark a section within a block of content as option but it's then optional for everyone.
