We need to create a "Manager Flag" on the position. If the position has direct reports, it should be "Manager: Yes" otherwise "Manager: No".
The requirement is to configure this field with an automatism so HR admin doesn´t need to select the value manually.
How am I supposed to configure the business rule logic so it can be automatized? It should work when the position gets lower-lever positions in the position Org. Chart as well as when this position is entered as a "Higher Level Position" on another position.
Reason of the field: We want to create an automated e-mail notification for payroll if someone is promoted to a manager.
