LMS: Due Date based on the completion date of another item inside the same curriculum

Is it possible to build the following scenario in LMS?

Suppose we have a curriculum with 3 items, for example Item A, B and C. Item A should be done within 2 weeks from the assignment date. But Item C should be done within 6 Months after item A was completed and should be retrained every year. And Item C should be done within 1 Year after item A was completed and should also be retrained every year.

So is it possible to set due dates based on the completion date of other items inside the curriculum?

Dear lu89,

You can create 3 curriculas, one for each item and 3 assignment profiles.

Create one assignment profile to assign the course A based on the necessary target criteria that you may have.

Create a second assignment profile to assign the course B, considering the completion of the Item A (example below).

Create a third assignment profile to assign the course C, considering the completion of the Item B (example below).

Inside of Curricula 3, define the retraining to be triggered every year.

Also, for each curricula item, define if the training is mandatory and all the necessary details.

Hello Karen. I have a similar scenario. We want to assign an item A immediately upon hire with a due date 30 days after start. Then assign a refresher item B one year after completion of item A. If we use your method, upon completion of Item A, Item B will be immediately assigned and show up on their learning page. How do we get Item B to get assigned 1 year after completion of Item A, not show up on their learning page, and still keep a due date of 30 days to complete Item B after assignment?

To clarify, not show up on their learning page until it's assigned a year later, and keep the due date of 30 days after assignment.
