Exporting contents

I'm am trying to export one of my objects. Previously I can see the object under the 'All Content' tag in Manager. But now the object doesn't appear, it only appears when I chose the 'Published' tag. I am unable to export the object now because I cannot release the editing keys as it only appears when the "Published" tag is selected.

Are you trying to Export or Publish? Export means you are saving a project as a SCORM, exe, HTML or doc/pdf/ppt elsewhere. Publishing is when you want Learners to access the content in SAP Enable Now Manager.

Hi, @nataliechen98 

If the goal is to export and import it later into another SAP Enable Now system or workarea, then just right-click the object or node in the Producer and select the Export entry in the context menu. The result will be a .dkp file.

If the goal is to export the content to play it outside of SAP Enable Now, then right-click the selected object or node, select Publish Selected Object entry, choose the format to export (Standard, Executable, Documents, SCORM, etc) and click OK.

Export will create a .dkp (that you can then import into another Workarea/instance). You're better off doing this from Producer, not Manager, especially if there are related resources / referenced objects you may also need to include in the .dkp.
