Thank you Dirk. You just provided a great idea. Our default has been to check “Use Demo Bubble for Practice," set slide timing to 6 sec for all slides, and users can pause in Demo mode if they need more time to read. The Demo timing therefore also applies to Practice mode.
BUT... by simply unchecking "Use Demo Bubble...", SEN allows us to set the Practice bubble timing from -1 to longer as needed.

No, sorry. In Practice mode there should be no need for a Pause button - the Learner is controlling the progression by performing the actions. The only thing that might happen automatically (and where they could conceivably need a Pause button) is auto-advance for Explanation bubbles. However, I recommend setting the Display Duration for these (in Practice mode only) to -1 (which should be the default, anyway) so they display 'forever' and the Learner has to click the Next button to advance.
